HERhouse is a member of the S.A.F.E. Housing Network. Sisterhood Alliance for Freedom & Equality (S.A.F.E.) Housing Network initiative of A New Way Of Life, founded by Susan Burton, is a nationally recognized successful reentry model that helps provide a framework for supporting formerly incarcerated individuals nationwide. Since 2018, the S.A.F.E. Housing Network has provided services for more than 3,890 individuals in 16 states.

HERhome provides rental living space of single family dwellings for justice-involved women who are returning to the community that face rental housing discrimination due to their criminal record, making them unable to pass a background check. In addition, women will be able to utilize the educational program offered though DLA (Dignity LeadHERship Alliance), that focuses on health & wellness, financial literacy, rehabilitation and homeownership.

RestoreHER is initiating affordable shipping-living housing for homeownership.  To lay the groundwork for this visionary project, RestoreHER has made significant strides by purchasing a plot of land containing two pilot shipping living homes that will demonstrate the project's potential for affordable living solutions. HERcommunity will consist of an innovative development of shipping living homes to offer homeownership opportunities for individuals impacted by the legal system, veterans, and those earning an annual income of $30K or more. RestoreHER currently has obtained in-kind donations of containers from Mobile Mini, funding from Canary Impact Fund, and Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium.
