ACC=SS (Active Community Connections = Safe Solutions), is a web and mobile app that closes the gap between community-based direct service and resource providers and individuals facing systemic barriers, especially those who are justice-impacted, veterans, marginalized or experiencing transitions.
The app allows users to:

When RestoreHER’s founder Pamela Winn came home from incarceration, she had lost everything! She’d lost her home, her job, her nursing license, her transportation, and her health insurance among other needs. She quickly realized what so many others do, that most people returning home lack access to the basic services and support systems needed to rebuild their lives. Without these critical resources, people are more likely to experience homelessness, unemployment, hunger and recidivism.

Is the app free to use?
Yes. ACC=SS is completely free for individuals and families.
Do I need to have been incarcerated to use the app?
No. While ACC=SS was built with justice-impacted individuals in mind, anyone navigating hard times, including veterans, caregivers, unhoused people and other marginalized groups, is welcome.
Will my personal information be shared?
No. Your info stays private and is only shared with organizations you choose to contact through the secure in-app chat or other method of contact..
Do I need a referral or case manager to sign up?
Not at all. Anyone can create an account and begin using ACC=SS immediately.
What if I don’t see services in my area?
We’re adding more organizations every day. You can help by suggesting local providers you know, or checking back frequently as new ones join.
Can I access ACC=SS from my computer?
Yes. Visit www.app.acc-ss.com to log in from any browser.
When will the ACC=SS mobile app be available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Stores?

How do we get listed on ACC=SS?
Your organization may already be listed. Just contact us to claim and activate your profile. Once you're verified, you can start communicating with users through the secure in app chat feature.
Is there a fee to use ACC=SS as an organization?
Organizations led by justice-impacted people can access ACC=SS for free. Others receive a free trial period (3-6 months) and then pay a low monthly fee.
What kind of organizations can join?
Any nonprofit, service agency, mutual aid group, legal clinic, or community-based org that provides direct services and resources to the public is welcome.
Do we need special tech to use the app?
No. You only need internet access and a phone or computer. The interface is simple and designed for easy use by both organizational staff and the clients you serve.
Can we message users through the app?
Yes. Once your profile is active, you can use in-app chat to securely connect with users who select your services.
Can we update our info or add new programs?
Absolutely. You’ll have access to your organization dashboard to manage services, contact info, hours of operation and any other detailed information in your organizational profile.
